Career Fair at the Norwegian Foot March & Trail Run
A sponsorship opportunity to connect with some exceptional candidates in a one-of-a-kind career fair setting on Friday, April 11th and Saturday, April 12th.
The Association of the United States Army (AUSA) is partnering with the University of Minnesota Army ROTC Program for their annual signature event – the Norwegian Foot March & 30K Trail Run – on Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19, in Arden Hills, MN. This 6th annual event allows Servicemen, Cadets, and Midshipmen an opportunity to earn a prestigious military badge for a rigorous timed ruck march and other participants to compete in a concurrent 30K trail run at the Arden Hills Army Training Site (4761 Hamline Avenue N, Arden Hills, MN 55112). We have crafted a career fair to coincide with the pre- and post-event Norwegian Foot March activities that will be of interest to your firm. More than 750 participants will take part in this event, and more than 500 of them are expected to be military service members, Army or Air Force Cadets, or Navy or Marines Midshipmen. The candidates your recruiting team will meet will be:
On track for (or currently possess) a college degree, many in technical fields
Physically fit
Drug-free
Pre-screened for legal, moral, and health barriers
Already possess – or are candidates for obtaining – a security clearance
The Career Fair will take place on the drill floor inside the National Guard Armory, and the hours are:
Friday, April 18 (Packet pick-up and leadership forum): 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (load-in); 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Career Fair and Leadership Forum). Most participants pick up their packets at this time, and all will walk through the Career Fair area.
Saturday, April 19 (Race Day): 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (event); 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. (load-out). Meet the remaining participants as they register before the 8:00 a.m. start time.
There are $250, $500, and $1,000+ sponsorships available. AUSA is seeking a $500 Career Fair sponsorship for this opportunity. In addition to the unprecedented access to the talent pool on-site, sponsorships of more than $500 include:
10’ x 10’ space with 6’ x 30” table with two (2) chairs
Priority placement of designated sponsor names and logos on the official event tee-shirt
Organization names/logos on the event website
Logo at the start/finish line
Collateral (provided by sponsor) in the race packet
3’x5’ banner (provided by sponsor) displayed on competition route
